France’s Nicolas Sarkozy said that the political election had raised “enormous hope”. World politics have never been so focused on a political election like they were for the 2008 Presidential Election for the United States. That political election really changed world politics and brought together the whole world. World politics respondents in Canada, Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Australia and South Africa were reported to have paid the most attention to world politics and the 2008 political election, while world politics respondents in Brazil, Russia, India, Taiwan and Poland were polled in paying the least attention. The 2008 election was different for world politics, because support for Barack Obama was significantly stronger in other nations, as opposed to America, where support for both political candidates was about equal. World politics main issues are economy, poverty and the environment, and Barack Obama wanted to make a change for the better for those issues, making him more likeable in world politics. The 2008 Presidential election wasn’t just big around the world, it had a major impact on the United States of America. Even though voters were basically split down the middle on whom to vote for, it was a monumental election. Barack Obama was the first black man running for president and he won. Barack Obama is the first black president of the United States of America. He plans to change America for the better and help those who can’t help themselves.
