State politics are often shaped by federal government politics and policies. The state politics in one state may be different in another. Federal government politics are the same for the whole nation. These Federal government politics play a big role in state politics.

Government politics and policies have always affected state politics. Government politics basically are the governing authority over a certain political unit. The government has the authority to make laws, solve disputes and issue administrative decisions. National government politics often affect state politics and policies. State politics often affect people of certain states on different levels. There are different state politics laws for every state. For example, in Massachusetts, gay marriage is legal and two people of the same sex can legally get married. In other states this isn’t possible due to the government politics and politics they put on the state politics and government. The purpose of government politics is to maintain basic security and public order. There are different government politics for the nation. State politics cover a state, while local politics and policies cover the rules and regulations for certain towns or cities, as opposed to the state as a whole. There may be government politics and laws that cover the whole nation, those laws may be different with state politics and they may even be more detailed for the local government. One major government politics issue that changes from state to state politics is education. Certain state politics and policies have different requirements for the different school systems, depending on what area they live in. These state politics are different because school systems may be drastically different even if they are in the same state. Some urban areas have schools that offer more scholarships and financial aid, due to the lower grades and lower income in those urban areas. Government politics is very important for people and has expanded since the beginning of history. The role of government politics has gone from basic concerns, like state politics, to expanding government policies like economical laws and policies and foreign affairs. But government politics do have an effect on state politics. Even though state laws and policies differ from state to state, federal government laws can overrule those laws. For example, a person 20 years ago may have gotten charged in California as a sex offender, but now thanks to government politics like Megan’s Law, that sex offender will be in a database, available for everyone to search and find him. There are many state politics that vary from state to state. Federal government politics are put in use for the whole nation. Laws and policies are put in place to keep order and protect the citizens.

Federal government politics are very different from state and local politics and policies. They each have their own role for different areas and situations. Many people can benefit from the federal, state and local government laws and policies.
