Religion Politics

Global politics is one of the most important kind of politics and is greatly shaped by religion politics. Global politics are constantly affected by religion politics situations around the world. If there is a religion politics issue it usually impacts global politics.

Religion politics play a big role in America. Many people argue over the separation of church and state everyday. The religion politics that go on in America effect global politics and the rest of the world. Religion politics had a big role in the 2008 Presidential Election with John McCain and Barack Obama. Issues like gay marriage arose. Many people don’t believe in gay marriage and only believe that a man and a woman should be allowed to be married. McCain did not support gay marriage and Obama stated that even though he didn’t say he believed in gay marriage, he believed in civil unions and didn’t want to take away peoples freedom. Religion politics is very complicated. But religion politics is very common in global politics. Global politics is basically the study of political and economical patterns of the world. It studies relationships between cities, states, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations and international organizations around the world. Global politics can cover ethnic conflict, democracy, globalization, comparative politics, political economy and the international political economy of the environment. Global politics can be heavily effected by religion politics. For example, in 2005, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran made a speech at the United Nations in which he called for the “mighty lord” to “hasten the emergence” of Imam Mahdi. Some political analysts speculated that the president of Iran used religious politics to further his political goals. That day, the president accused Iran’s elite of economic corruption and put a great strain on religion politics. This set off global politics issues all over. When a country has a religious politics issues, it effects countries all around the world. A country like Pakistan may have an international business connection with other Islamic countries. But if those countries are fighting over religious politics then business could be harmed. This effects global politics because business is slacking due to religious problems. Its like if there is a war in a country and they can’t afford to do the same business transactions as usual, then its trade partners will ultimately lose out, along with that country. Religion is defined as a set of beliefs and practices that are determined by one’s view of reality and the supernatural. Politics is defined as the process by which groups make decisions. Anyone in their right mind can see that religion and politics don’t go together and shouldn’t be put together. But often times, they are. Religion is dealt with differently all over the world, and so is politics. You can’t expect global politics to be fine if religious politics also play a role in most countries around the world.

Global politics is the study of political and economical patterns all over the world. But those patterns may change due to religion politics in the different countries. That’s why its important for every country to be aware of the separation of church and state.
